- Am I obligated to a long-term contract when I join Gym & Trim?
No we offer a variety of different memberships, contract memberships are however either for a 3 or 12 month minimum period, contact the membership consultant for details of short term memberships.
- Are there any special offers on joining fees when becoming a member of Gym & Trim?
There may be special offers on joining fees throughout the year please contact a membership consultant who will be happy to discuss any special offers.
- Are there extras to pay for, once I’ve joined Gym & Trim?
Additional costs are for the use of optional facilities and services such as sunbeds, beauty treatments, Hair Salon, Physiotherapist, Lazy Daisy, Sports Massages facilities and Specialist Personal training. As a member of Gym & Trim you will be able take advantage of our complimentary video and DVD library where you can hire films totally free!
- Can I bring a guest with me?
You may bring up to three guests with you to at any one time. Your guest(s) will be required to complete a Guest Registration Form and pay the current guest fee £8 per visit Guests are entitled to the same membership privileges as the member who is escorting them.
- Can I freeze my membership because I cannot attend the club at the moment?
You may apply to freeze your membership due to medical reasons by giving one full calendar month’s written medical notice. In the ‘freezing’ period you will be required to pay £5.00 per month until you return to the club. This is subject to terms and conditions and can not be completed via this website, email or phone.
- Can I get cheaper membership during the day?
We offer the option of Gold, Silver and Bronze off-peak memberships at a reduced rate. Please contact a Membership Consultant who will be happy to discuss all of our membership rates and special offers.
- Can my colleagues and I get corporate membership with Gym & Trim?
We do offer corporate membership and this would be discussed on an individual company-by-company basis. Please contact the Club Manager or Membership Consultant who will be happy to discuss their current corporate rates.
- How do I cancel my membership?
If you wish to cancel your membership you must write to the Club Manager. We recommend you send your letter by recorded delivery to ensure notice of cancellation is received. For the avoidance of doubt cancellations requested by this website, email or phone will not be accepted. If you are within the minimum contract period, notice may be given to coincide with the end of that contract period.
- How do I pay for my membership?
Most memberships are payable in advance monthly by Standing Order unless it’s for a pre-paid period.
Membership rates vary please contact a Membership Consultant who will be happy to discuss all of the membership options and any special offers on joining fees.
- How old do I have to be to join Gym & Trim?
The minimum age requirement to use or join is 16 years of age. If the joiner is under 18, parental consent is required.
- Who do I speak to if I have any queries about my membership?
All enquires are dealt with on a personal basis so please feel free to approach a member of staff who will be happy to help you, or point you in the direction of a senior member of staff. You can also submit enquiries through the web site in the contact us section.
- Do I have to pay to park?
No we run a free parking permit system which allows you to park for upto three hours whilst in the club. |
